On June 4^th and 5^th, the Division of International Education and Exchange (IEED) of the School of Engineering has hosted in the frame of International Cooperation a group of 18 students and 2 accompanying staffs from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand. The first day has been dedicated to the presentation of the School of Engineering, a laboratory tour and a short visit of Sendai Castle. For the second day, the IEED organized an industrial visit to the Kirin Brewery and the Bullet Train railway yard. Meanwhile, lunchtime has been an opportunity to go sightseeing the beautiful islands of Matsushima bay, one of the three views of Japan. The 2 days visit has been partly supported by the Aoba Foundation for the Promotion of Engineering.
