The Aobayama Concert is a regular musical event at Aoba Memorial Hall, featuring performances by Tohoku University's students, faculty and staff.

The organizing committee is currently recruiting musicians for the next concert, which will take place on December 20, 2024. There are plans for two sessions - a shorter one at lunchtime (12:10 - 12:50 p.m.) and a full-length concert in the evening (5:30 - 8:00 p.m.).

Anyone who wishes to perform is encouraged to submit an application. Any genre of music is acceptable, and each performance should be under 8 minutes. A representative from each group must attend the meeting on December 10 at 12:15 p.m.

Please note that the final list of successful applicants and the order of the performances will be decided by the concert's executive committee; and that photographs and videos taken at the event may be used by the university for promotional purposes.
