◎研究内容
My research activity is concerned with the design of novel molecules and materials for applications in engineering. For example, molecular sensors for the detection of ions such as Cs+ and inorganic building blocks. The strategy adopted is to combine different chemical elements from the Periodic Table to obtain stable polyatomic molecules and to study their electronic structure with the aid of quantum chemistry methods. Crystallographic databases are also employed for the study of uncommon intra- and intermolecular interactions.
