◎研究内容
I study piezoelectric microactuators for a wide range of applications. Some optical devices can improve their long-term performance through combination with piezoresistive sensing (micromirrors, varifocal lens). On the other hand, piezoelectric micromachined ultrasonic transducers (pMUT) are an interesting device that requires improvement in fabrication techniques and design to achieve better uniformity (enable high performance array), low signal-to-noise ratio and high sound pressure level. These are requirements so pMUTs can be used widely in medical imaging, human-machine interface communication, and others. This research will enable wider use of high performance piezoelectric devices in new applications such as micromirrors, tunable lenses, ultrasonic and haptic devices, etc., which are deemed key devices for IoT and AR/VR technologies.
